People and organizations worldwide come together on April 17 of each year to commemorate World Hemophilia Day, a condition that, although classified as rare, affects more than one million people on the planet.
From Foundation Hope and Life, we commemorate this date with the CandleLight event: “A light for the world.” The annual meeting has been an opportunity to remember all those who no longer present due to a bleeding disorder. It is also a space to highlight and exalt those who continue to fight for a condition that makes them unique.
For 2021, we are not oblivious to the consequences of the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore we are preparing to have a virtual event in which, supported by volunteers, patients and caregivers, pharmacists, and the entire hemophilia community, we will take the step to talk about a condition that we want to make more and more visible.
